First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding inectolizumab to standard steroid treatment can lower the amount of steroids needed by people newly diagnosed with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). The trial will enroll 25 adults who have not yet been treated and are positive for a specific antibody. Researchers will track relapses, disability levels, and changes in immune markers to see if the combination is safer and more effective than steroids alone.
