New Triple-Drug attack targets Hard-to-Treat breast cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding a new drug called inavolisib to two standard drugs (ribociclib and fulvestrant) works better than a placebo plus the two standard drugs for people with a certain type of advanced breast cancer (HR+/HER2- with chromosome 8p loss). About 80 adults whose cancer has stopped responding to hormone therapy will take part. The goal is to see if the triple combination shrinks tumors and delays cancer growth.
