Bridging the gap: getting rural eye patients to treatment

Summary
This study aims to help more people in rural Assam get the eye care they need. Currently, many patients identified with eye problems at community screenings don't make it to the hospital for treatment. The project will test new ways to help patients overcome barriers like transportation, costs, and fear, so more people can receive sight-restoring surgeries and care.
