First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests whether text reminders, commitment pledges, and planning prompts can help men who have sex with men stay on PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. About 106 participants in South Africa will either get standard care or these extra nudges. Researchers will check if the approach is practical and if it improves PrEP use over 3 to 12 months.
