Summary
This study aimed to understand how to have better conversations with older adults about starting or stopping medications, a process called deprescribing. Researchers surveyed 2,400 adults aged 65 and older in the US and Australia, asking their opinions on a hypothetical patient scenario. The goal was to learn what influences these decisions to help doctors and patients communicate more effectively.
