New program aims to cut heart disease risk in forensic psychiatric care

Summary
This study tests a program called Structured Health Dialogue (SHD) to help forensic psychiatric patients improve their lifestyle and reduce heart disease risk. The program combines health checks, personalized risk feedback, and lifestyle advice. 50 adults in a secure psychiatric clinic in Sweden will take part. The goal is to see if the program is practical and acceptable, and to measure changes in health and quality of life over 12 months.
