Summary

This study tests if a single injection of Berinert into a donor kidney before transplant can improve kidney function one year later. It involves 180 adults on dialysis waiting for a deceased-donor kidney transplant. Half receive the drug, half receive a placebo, and neither the patient nor the doctor knows who gets which.
