NCT ID NCT03322891

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at how well newly diagnosed African-American men with early-stage prostate cancer understand what their doctor tells them about treatment. Researchers will give some patients an easy-to-read educational handout after their doctor visit and then interview them to see if it helps them understand their options and side effects better. The goal is to improve health literacy and help patients feel more confident in their decisions.
