New program helps kids with autism sit still for eye tests

Summary

This study tested a structured program to help children and teens with autism, developmental delays, or intellectual disabilities cooperate better during eye exams. Twenty participants attended six one-hour training sessions over 12 weeks. The goal was to see if the program could make eye exams easier and more successful for these children.
