Scientists tweak surgery machine to better catch deadly eye cancer

NCT ID NCT07408466

Summary

This study aims to improve the diagnosis of a rare and aggressive eye cancer called vitreoretinal lymphoma. Researchers will use blood samples from healthy donors to test four different combinations of settings on a standard eye surgery machine. The goal is to find which settings cause the least damage to cells, which could help doctors get better samples for diagnosis in the future.
