MRI heart monitoring gets a signal boost

NCT ID NCT07456644

First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study aims to improve the quality of ECG (heart rhythm) recordings taken during cardiac MRI scans. The MRI's magnetic field can distort these signals, making it harder to monitor the heart. Researchers will test ways to reduce this distortion in 2,500 adult patients to improve safety and support procedures guided by MRI.
