First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at how doctors and patients interact in the hospital. Researchers wanted to see if teaching doctors simple strategies could make them more empathetic and improve how patients view their care. Nearly 1,000 doctors and patients took part, with some doctors using the new strategies and others providing care as usual. The goal was to learn if these strategies can strengthen the bond between doctors and patients.
