First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests a digital outreach program designed with Native American communities to help people get a follow-up colonoscopy after an abnormal home stool test. Colorectal cancer is a leading cause of cancer death, and Native Americans are affected more than others. The program uses focus groups to create culturally sensitive messages and tools, then tests whether they improve screening rates among 164 adults in Oklahoma.
