New implant offers hope for debilitating chronic nausea

Summary
This study is testing whether a small, implanted device called the Enterra Therapy System can reduce symptoms and improve quality of life for people with chronic nausea and vomiting who have normal stomach emptying. About 148 participants will have the device implanted and will track their symptoms daily on a smartphone for about a year. The goal is to see if this electrical stimulation therapy helps people who haven't gotten enough relief from standard medications.
