New implant offers hope for debilitating chronic nausea
NCT ID NCT06464926
Summary
This study is testing whether a small, implanted device called the Enterra Therapy System can help reduce symptoms and improve quality of life for adults with chronic nausea and vomiting, even when their stomach empties normally. Participants will have the device surgically placed and will track their symptoms daily on a smartphone for about a year. The goal is to see if this electrical stimulation therapy provides relief for people who haven't gotten better with standard medications.
