Better light, better sight: new study on Post-Surgery vision

NCT ID NCT07077967

First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at how different types of artificial lighting affect how well people see after having presbyopia (age-related blurry near vision) corrected with special extended-depth-of-focus lenses. Researchers will measure the minimum light needed for clear distance vision in 100 adults aged 45 to 75. The goal is to create better lighting recommendations for people with these lenses.
