First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving the steroid methylprednisolone right after a stroke clot removal procedure can help patients recover better. About 1060 adults who had a major stroke will receive either the steroid or a placebo through an artery and then through a vein. The goal is to see if this treatment reduces disability and improves survival without increasing bleeding in the brain.
