NCT ID NCT00457587
First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is a first step toward creating an immunotherapy for adrenocortical carcinoma, a rare and aggressive adrenal gland cancer. Researchers are analyzing blood and tumor samples from 150 people (patients and healthy volunteers) to find the right targets for a future vaccine-like treatment. The goal is to understand how the cancer hides from the immune system, not to test a treatment yet.
