New combo therapy shows promise for tough liver cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding immunotherapy drugs (durvalumab and tremelimumab) to a type of internal radiation therapy (Y-90 SIRT) can shrink tumors in people with advanced bile duct cancer that has not spread beyond the liver. About 50 adults with this rare liver cancer will receive the combination treatment. The goal is to see if the immune system can be boosted to better fight the cancer while radiation targets the tumor directly.
