First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looked at 57 people who had a stem cell transplant for blood cancer. The goal was to see if certain immune cells (iNKT cells) can predict the risk of a serious side effect called graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). Researchers measured these cells in the blood and the transplant material to find patterns that could help doctors personalize care in the future.
