Can immune markers predict success of alternative chemoradiotherapy in head and neck cancer?

NCT ID NCT06947668

First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at immune markers in tumor tissue, saliva, stool, and blood from 250 patients with head and neck cancers who cannot receive the standard chemotherapy drug cisplatin. Instead, they will receive chemoradiotherapy with docetaxel. The goal is to find out which immune features predict treatment success, survival, and side effects, helping doctors choose better treatments for these patients in the future.
