Summary
This study looked at whether measles infection can cause 'immune amnesia'—temporarily wiping out a child's existing immunity to other diseases. Researchers followed 264 children aged 1 to 15 in Africa, comparing those with and without measles. They measured antibody levels and responses to a rabies vaccine to see how well the immune system remembered past infections.
