First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested a new method called vestibular socket therapy using a collagen membrane for immediate dental implants in people with a damaged front tooth. The goal was to see if it helps preserve the bone and gum shape better than the standard approach. Eighteen adults with a single upper tooth needing extraction took part, and the results focused on bone thickness and height changes measured by CT scans.
