New pill could offer hope for young women with breast cancer

Summary
This study tests a new drug called imlunestrant in 600 premenopausal women with estrogen receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. Some women will also receive ovarian suppression. The goal is to see how the drug affects cancer cells and the ovaries compared to tamoxifen. The study has two parts: one lasting about a month, the other up to six months.
