Steroid injection study aims to ease hand arthritis pain

Summary
This study tests whether a steroid injection (methylprednisolone) can reduce hand pain in people with hand osteoarthritis. About 212 adults with moderate to severe hand pain will receive either a high dose, a low dose, or a placebo injection. The main goal is to measure pain relief after 4 weeks, with follow-up for up to 48 weeks to check safety and long-term effects.
