Summary

This study tests whether a steroid injection (methylprednisolone) can reduce hand pain in people with hand osteoarthritis. About 212 adults with painful hands will receive either a high dose, a low dose, or a placebo injection. Researchers will measure pain changes after 4 weeks and track safety for up to 48 weeks.
