Knee surgery tech may eliminate need for Pre-Op scans
NCT ID NCT07574775
First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special computer system used during knee replacement surgery can measure bone angles as accurately as a CT scan done beforehand. 50 adults with knee arthritis had both a CT scan and the computer measurements during their surgery. The goal was to see if the computer could replace the CT scan, which would mean less radiation and lower costs for patients.
