Brain zap tweak could quiet shaky hands
NCT ID NCT07433699
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether using brain images to program deep brain stimulation (DBS) devices works better than the usual method for reducing hand tremors in people with essential tremor. Twenty adults who already have DBS electrodes in their brain will try both programming approaches. The goal is to see which method provides better tremor control and patient satisfaction.
