Head-to-Head trial tests drug duos for rare autoimmune condition
NCT ID NCT05789030
Summary
This study compares two different drug combinations to find which works better at controlling IgG4-related disease and preventing it from flaring up again. Researchers will follow 60 patients with this autoimmune condition affecting superficial organs for 12 months. One group receives prednisone plus iguratimod, while the other receives prednisone plus leflunomide, to see which combination keeps the disease under control longer with fewer side effects.
