First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests a special PET/MRI scan that targets IDH mutations, a key genetic marker in gliomas (brain tumors). The goal is to accurately diagnose tumor subtypes and guide treatment without needing a biopsy. Ten adults with suspected or known gliomas will receive the scan to see how well it detects mutations and predicts outcomes.
