Which knockout drug is safest for ICU patients?
NCT ID NCT07222007
Summary
This study looks back at medical records to see if the choice of anesthesia drug given before placing a breathing tube affects survival in very sick ICU patients. Researchers will compare how often patients died within a week after receiving different common drugs like propofol or ketamine. The goal is to find which drug might lead to better outcomes for these vulnerable patients.
