Which sedative is safer for ICU patients?

NCT ID NCT07222007

Summary

This study looks back at medical records to see if the choice of sedation drug given before inserting a breathing tube affects how likely critically ill patients are to survive their first week in the hospital. Researchers will compare drugs like propofol and ketamine in adult ICU patients. The goal is to find which drug might lead to fewer complications and better outcomes for these vulnerable patients.
