Can a simple chair help ICU patients walk again?
NCT ID NCT06973746
Summary
This study is testing whether getting ICU patients who are on breathing machines to sit in a chair helps them recover strength and function better than staying in bed. Researchers will compare two groups: one that sits in a chair and one that stays sitting up in bed. They want to see if the chair position helps patients leave the ICU stronger and more mobile.
