First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to give chemotherapy directly into the abdomen after surgery to remove visible cancer in people with appendix or colorectal cancer that has spread to the lining of the belly. One method gives chemotherapy right after surgery through a tube, and the other uses heated chemotherapy during surgery. The goal is to see which approach helps keep cancer from coming back longer. About 292 adults are taking part in this phase 2 trial.
