New program aims to help veterans quit smoking while getting screened for lung cancer

Summary

This study looks at how to best help Veterans quit smoking when they come in for lung cancer screening. It will test combining counseling and medication to see what works best. The goal is to save more lives by making it easier for Veterans to stop smoking.
