Can an online program help new moms beat the baby blues?

NCT ID NCT07384273

First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding an internet-based therapy program (iCARE) to standard care helps reduce symptoms of postpartum depression more than standard care alone. About 352 new mothers who gave birth within the last 6 months and have mild to moderate depression symptoms will participate. The program combines cognitive behavioral therapy with acceptance and commitment therapy, delivered online so mothers can use it at home.
