NCT ID NCT06060041
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study is checking the long-term safety of the IC-8 Apthera lens, which is used during cataract surgery to help with both distance and near vision. After surgery, some people develop a cloudy film behind the lens (called PCO), which is treated with a laser. The study will follow 435 adults who need that laser treatment to see if any further problems or treatments are needed over the next two years.
