Summary
This study tested whether a wearable patch could successfully record the natural electrical activity of the stomach and intestines. It involved 88 adults, some with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and pain, and some without any gut issues. The goal was to see if this non-invasive method could help researchers better understand how gut activity differs in people with IBS.
