Summary

This study tested a combination of two oral drugs, ibrutinib and ixazomib, for people with Waldenström macroglobulinemia, a rare type of blood cancer. The goal was to see if taking these two drugs together was safe and effective at controlling the cancer. The trial was designed for patients whose cancer was newly diagnosed, had come back, or was not responding to other treatments.
