New drug IBI3013 enters human testing for skin and hair loss conditions

NCT ID NCT07554222

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new drug called IBI3013. First, healthy adults receive a single dose to check safety and how the body processes it. Then, people with active vitiligo (white patches on skin) or severe alopecia areata (patchy hair loss) receive multiple doses. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and tolerable, not yet to cure the conditions. The study involves 160 participants and lasts up to 48 weeks.
