Tracking mom and baby health: are newer IBD drugs safe in pregnancy?
NCT ID NCT06337565
Summary
This study aims to gather safety information on newer medications for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) when used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It will follow 1,000 pregnant women with IBD who are taking specific newer drugs, tracking the health of both the mothers and their children for up to four years after birth. Because pregnant patients are usually excluded from drug trials, this registry is designed to collect real-world data on potential risks and outcomes.
