Summary

This study tests whether delivering a clot-busting drug directly into the blocked brain artery can improve recovery for people with a medium vessel occlusion stroke who cannot receive standard clot-dissolving medicine through a vein. About 614 adults will be randomly assigned to get either the artery-directed treatment plus usual care, or usual care alone. The main goal is to see if more people achieve a good functional outcome (little or no disability) at 90 days.
