Summary
This study tests whether using a heart pump (IABP) early can improve survival in people who develop a hole in the heart wall after a heart attack. The trial will include 100 adults with early signs of shock. Researchers will compare 30-day death rates between those who get the pump plus standard care and those who get standard care alone.
