First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether walking in a room that mimics high altitude (like being at 8,200 feet) can improve health in people with metabolic fatty liver disease (MASLD). Twenty sedentary adults with MASLD will do 8 weeks of supervised aerobic training, either in simulated altitude or normal air. Researchers will measure changes in body fat, fitness, and liver health markers.
