Altitude training on flat ground: new hope for fatty liver?

Summary

This study tests whether walking in a room with slightly lower oxygen (simulating mild altitude) can improve fitness, body composition, and metabolism in people with MASLD (fatty liver disease). Twenty sedentary adults with MASLD will do 8 weeks of supervised aerobic training, either in simulated altitude or normal air. Researchers will measure changes in weight, fat percentage, and liver health markers.
