First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether hypnotherapy can help children aged 6 to 18 with juvenile arthritis, lupus, or related conditions feel less pain and anxiety during needle procedures like injections or blood draws. About 70 children will be randomly assigned to receive either hypnotherapy sessions or standard care. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to improve the healthcare experience for children who need regular needle sticks.
