Hypnosis may cool hot flashes for menopausal women

Summary
This study looks at whether clinical hypnosis and self-hypnosis can improve quality of life and reduce hot flashes in menopausal women who cannot or choose not to take hormone therapy. About 94 women will be randomly assigned to either hypnosis sessions or a supportive listening group. The main goal is to see if hypnosis helps with overall well-being after 6 months.
