Summary

This study looked at whether a single hypnosis session before a hysterectomy (surgery to remove the uterus) could lower anxiety in women with pelvic gynecological cancer. 29 women took part. Researchers measured anxiety levels before and after the hypnosis session to see if it helped them feel calmer going into surgery.
