Hypnosis put to the test for alcohol addiction

Summary
This study tests whether hypnosis and self-exercises can help people with moderate to severe alcohol addiction control their drinking. About 98 adults will take part. The goal is to see if these techniques help patients reach and maintain their drinking goals over 6 to 12 months.
