First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at whether keeping blood pressure very well controlled could prevent bone damage (osteonecrosis) in children and young adults being treated for leukemia or lymphoma. About 50 participants were randomly assigned to either intensive blood pressure control or standard control. The goal was to see if tighter blood pressure management reduces the risk of serious bone problems caused by cancer treatment.
